The Department of Physical Education and Sports strives to provide quality facilities and opportunities for students to participate in various sports activities.

The institution gives equal importance to academics and sports. Students representing the college at Inter-Collegiate, Inter-Zonal, State, National, and University-level competitions are provided with various support facilities, including attendance concessions, duty leave, Travelling Allowance(TA), and Dearness Allowance(DA). All necessary sports equipment required for practice and competition.
To ensure that participation in sports does not adversely affect academic progress, special examination facilities are arranged for students who miss their regular examinations due to participation in recognized sports competitions. The college also provides necessary administrative and academic support to help student sportspersons effectively balance their academic responsibilities and sporting commitments.
